What can you expect at a Reiki session? The practitioner places her hands upon or near the client. Since the practitioner is only a channel or funnel for the Reiki energy, the energy flows naturally to wherever it is needed. There is no manipulation or intrusion of the body, and the client remains fully clothed. A session lasts 45 to 90 minutes. The length of treatment (number of sessions) depends on the core cause of the problem and the amount of energy needed to restore balance within the body.
What does it feel like? Clients have reported feeling surrounded by a soothing warmth that penetrates their entire body. Others have reported feeling tingling or waves of movement. Some have said it provides a deep feeling of comfort and well-being. Most agree that a Reiki session leaves you calm and balanced, yet energized and alert.
We also offer Reiki treatments for ANIMALS. Whether your animal companion has a health problem or the aches and pains of old age, Reiki can help soothe their pain and bring them peace.
